In the operation of our facilities, DuBois goes beyond legal compliance with an environmental management system (EMS) aimed at minimizing our environmental impact, and being leaders in our communities.  That program has lead to significant reductions in water use (37%) and waste generation (34%) from our operations in the past year.  Our compliance programs and EMS have allowed us to achieve and maintain ISO 14001 certification.  DuBois has an ongoing program of investments targeted at energy conservation, expansion of recycling programs, and modernization of environmental control systems.

As a provider of industrial chemical solutions, we recognize that everything we produce is eventually released into the environment in some form.  Therefore, we take the most scrupulous steps to prevent negative effects.  Our Research and Development team is continuously working on new product formulations that have superior environmental, health, and safety characteristics, and superior performance.  The strong DuBois R&D organization and commitment to continuous improvement contribute to your positive environmental results while providing best-in-class product performance. 

Safety Programs

Keeping your employees safe as they work with our products is our top priority.  Beyond the safety focus that is at the forefront as we develop our products, the DuBois Product Stewardship team is dedicated to providing Material Safety Data Sheets and product labeling that provide complete and clear information on proper handling and PPE.  We have a team of regulatory specialists, product experts, and chemists that is ready to respond to your questions and needs.

For the DuBois personnel who sell our products and provide service at customer sites, we have a comprehensive annual safety training program.  Our team’s recordable injury and illness rates are significantly below the industry average. 

The Target Zero Safety Committee for DuBois is led by the President of our company, who is committed to the safety of our personnel, and to partnering with you to ensure excellence in EHS.  Our Field Sales, Manufacturing, and R&D teams also have active safety committees to drive continuous improvement and a high level of safety awareness in all aspects of our business.
